Race, lane & heat schedule

On Saturday 18th June SASI drew the lane positions for SkiffieWorlds 2022 in the presence of Mr R Salomons, notary and the Chief Umpire for the event. Also present at the event was Max Berends, Chair of SASI and Kees van Vugt, Chair of DARA and witnessed remotely by zoom meeting with the SASI board members Robert Graham, all of Ireland and Topher Dawson representative of Scotland. The process of the draw consisted of dividing the 10 top seeded clubs across the heats and drawing the rest of the entrants by chance from a marked deck of cards. With 650 individual positions to fill this took quite a few hours but guaranteed a fair distribution.
